Melanca is a family company. For more than fifteen years we have designed, implemented and supported enterprise planning and consolidation systems for organisations around the world. Today we also build AI products, from Darwin AI for finance teams to the Buddy-Company apps for everyday life.
Where the name comes from
Melanca is named after the three daughters who have built it with their parents.
Design, implementation, migration and performance tuning of enterprise performance management (EPM) systems, from infrastructure up to reports, for finance teams in Europe, the US and beyond.
We build Darwin AI with Darwin Analytics, Inc.: an AI layer that lets finance teams ask their planning systems questions in plain language, independent of the EPM platform they run.
Through Buddy-Company we design and build apps that help people through every stage of life, with privacy built in and no ads.

Sectors we have worked in include consumer goods, telecoms, energy, construction, marine engineering, agriculture and food, postal and logistics, and healthcare.
Started in IT in 1998 as Managing Director of Ariel Technologies in South Africa, holds Microsoft and Cisco certifications up to CCIE, and has implemented EPM systems since 2001, including at OutlookSoft and SAP. Now VP of Product & Technology at Darwin Analytics and co-creator of Darwin AI.
The glue of the company from the very beginning. Lezanne runs the administration and bookkeeping and everything else that keeps Melanca going.
With Melanca since 2009Has worked with Manus since the very first day in 2009. Grew from consultant to senior consultant on planning and consolidation systems, and now builds Darwin AI and other AI products.
